Alonso expressed disappointment over Vinicius' missed penalty

Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has responded to a question about the penalty that striker Vinicius Junior missed during the 4-0 win over Valencia in the 11th round of La Liga. The Brazilian missed the penalty in the 43rd minute. At that moment, the score was 2-0 in favor of Los Blancos.

"I was disappointed with the missed penalty because the score could have been 3-0. It was a disappointment, that's all. We have a permanent penalty taker, and that's Mbappe. But on the pitch, the players can make decisions. I like it when they score from the penalty spot. Mbappe is still the team's main penalty taker," Alonso was quoted as saying by Sport.es.
