Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola commented on the achievement of the capital's Norwegian striker Erling Haaland in the match of the 4th round of the Champions League general stage against Borussia Dortmund (4:1).
"Erling Haaland has scored in five consecutive Champions League games for three different clubs. Every time I give a press conference, he sets another record. I'm happy for him, he deserves it. The stronger his environment, the easier it is for him to operate. Reliable partners at leading clubs enhance the potential of every player," Guardiola said on UEFA's official website.
Haaland has been playing for Manchester City since 2022. The striker's current contract with the club runs until 2034. This season, he has played in 18 matches in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing two assists.
