In the 13th round of the Fastex Premier League, the undefeated Ararat-Armenia hosted Robert Arzumanyan's Urartu. The Black and Whites have won eight of their twelve games this season and drawn four. Urartu has won seven of its thirteen games, drawn four, and lost two. In the previous round, Manuel Tulipa's men won 2-1 away against the Armenian champion/cupholder Noah, while Urartu also won 1-0 against Yerevan's Ararat.
Both teams started the match with active football, it should also be noted that many players from “Ararat-Armenia” and “Urartu” were invited to the Armenian national team. There were no scoring opportunities in the opening 20 minutes, but the match was played with active football, pressure and quick ball plays. In the “Urartu” team, we can single out 24-year-old Erik Piloyan, who is the second best scorer of the “Oranges” with two goals, which is a good indicator for a defender. In the second half, the game opened up more: Urartu began to try to break through the defense of Ararat-Armenia, which plays with three central defenders, but encountered problems in the final phase. As of the 71st minute, Urartu had possession of the ball with a 52/48% percentage of the time, conducting 46 attacks, the team led by the Portuguese specialist responded with 49. After a corner kick, Muradyan and his teammates organized a dangerous attack, which Alexander Mishiyev did not allow to finish. Three minutes before the end of the regular time of the match, Brazilian Bruno Michel restored the balance of the score (1:1) by scoring his eleventh goal in the current championship with a penalty kick. He is the foreign player who has scored the most goals in the Urartu team. Thus, Ararat-Armenia and Urartu leave the field in peace.
