During the pre-match press conference, Flick spoke about the German team, which he knows very well: "They have a good and very young team, full of fast and intense players. They know how to adapt their playing system," Flick noted, emphasizing that his team must perform at its best to achieve success. "We have to play at our highest level. In that case, we can earn three points, but it will not be easy."
Barcelona are coming into the game in good form despite their defeat in London. This has also coincided with the return of a number of key players from injury. "Everyone knows what happened in the last three months. We had a lot of losses and had to be careful with our playing time," he said.
Flick spoke with satisfaction about the team's progress: "We are in good shape, very close to the game we want to see and the game we need. The defensive line is at a different level than last month. Although we have little time to train, we are improving during the games, which is very positive."
