German coach Thomas Tuchel has commented on his contract extension with the England national team. The specialist has signed a new contract with the England national team until 2028.
"I am delighted and proud to have extended my contract with the England national team. It is no secret that I am enjoying working with this team and I am looking forward to taking the players to the World Cup. This is an incredible opportunity and we will do everything we can to make our country proud," Tuchel was quoted as saying by the England team's press service on social media.
Thomas Tuchel has been in charge of the England national team since 1 January 2025. The team finished first in their 2026 World Cup qualifying group without conceding a single goal. The German has previously managed a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
