UFC third-place middleweight boxer Sean Strickland has announced that he has no plans to travel outside the United States. The former champion emphasized that he plans to fight in his home country.
"First of all, guys, I'm never leaving this country again. I'm an American, I don't leave, I don't travel, I don't go on vacation. I'm going to die on this country, so everything will be in America," Strickland said in an interview with the UFC press service.
In his last fight, which took place on the night of February 21-22 (Moscow time) in Houston, USA, Strickland fought his compatriot Anthony Hernandez. The fight ended with Shawn winning by technical knockout in the third round. Overall, Strickland has a 30-7 MMA record.
