The president of Catalan club Barcelona, Joan Laporta, has announced that the Blaugrana will win the Spanish league this season.

"We have beaten Real Madrid in our last three finals. Now we have to get back on track and compete with Atletico. Our team will win La Liga despite all the difficulties," Laporta was quoted as saying by Sport.es.

After 25 rounds of the Spanish championship, the "Capitanes" are the leaders of the Ca Liga with 61 points, Real Madrid is in second place with 60 points. Villarreal completes the top three with 51 points.
