Armenian representatives have won another medal at the European Shooting Championships in Yerevan.
In the mixed team (men + women) moving target competition, the pair of Lilit Mkrtchyan-Hayk Minasyan representing Armenia won a silver medal. In the final, they competed against the pair of Viktoria Rybalova-Danilo Danilenko from Ukraine and lost with a score of 6:3.
The bronze medal was won by the pair of Aaro Vurima-Ida Hikiläe from Finland. The pair of Harutyunyan-Gor Khachatryan from Armenia also competed in the medal race.
Let's add that on March 1, the podium was almost Armenian, where Lilit Mkrtchyan became the European champion, and Gohar Harutyunyan became the vice-champion.
"This medal will always be remembered, because today I did what I have dreamed of for years. I am very proud that we will be on the podium with two representatives of Armenia. Before the final, I told Gohar that we should fight together for the gold medal, and we did it. Gohar is a very strong athlete. Losing to her is an honor, and winning is a double honor. When you become a European champion in your homeland, you have completely different feelings. This helped us a lot," Lilit Mkrtchyan noted after the victory.
