As part of the 17th round of the Fastex Premier League, “Noah” will face “CSKA” in an away match. This match was the first for Sandro Perkovic’s men in the Armenian domestic championship in 2026. Hovhannes Hambardzumyan and his teammates played in the quarterfinals of the Armenian Cup this year, defeating “Pyunik” (2:1) thanks to goals from Valentin Kostake and the team captain.
In the first half, both teams were left with ten players. In the 13th minute of the match, CSKA defender Hamlet Sargsyan was sent off, followed by Noah winger David Sualehe. One minute before the end of regular time in the first half, Mark Avetisyan scored an own goal.
Noah went into the break as the winner. The second half was even more heated, with the referee showing two yellow cards to Davit Davtyan and Narek Hovhannisyan. The Armenian champions/cup holders doubled their lead in the eighth minute of added time thanks to a penalty kick by Helder Ferreira. The Portuguese international took his tally of goals in the 2025/26 Fastex Premier League season to six.
Thus, "Noah" defeats the "Army", bringing the number of points to 26, approaching "Pyunik" in fourth place in the tournament table, "CSKA" is in seventh place with 15 points. The last match of the 17th round will take place tomorrow, February 9. The 16-time champion of Armenia will host "Shirak" from Gyumri at home.
