Arsenal have opened talks to sign RB Leipzig centre-back Castelo Luceb, according to L'Equipe, with the Frenchman planning to leave the German club after three seasons.
According to the source, the Bulls are demanding €60-70 million for the 23-year-old. An Arsenal scout observed Lukeb during the Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund (2:2) on February 21. The defender would like to continue his career in the English or Spanish leagues.
Lukeba has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt.com, his transfer value is €45 million.
