Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has announced on his social media page that he has been diagnosed with a right quadriceps muscle injury. Earlier, media reported that the Belgian goalkeeper could miss six to eight weeks due to the injury.
"From now on, I'm working to recover and help the team again," Courtois wrote.
Courtois was substituted at half-time in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Manchester City (2-1). According to media reports, the goalkeeper felt pain during training before the match.
