In an interview with the press service of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Karlen Hovhannisyan, a midfielder for the Armenian national team and Yerevan's Pyunik, spoke about his childhood in Ashtarak, his years at the Pyunik academy, playing for CSKA, making his debut in the Pyunik main team in the European Cup, as well as his first training camp with the national team.
"When I heard that Yeghishe Melikyan was going to invite me to the national team, I was very happy, but I also felt a great responsibility. The national team is a level that you strive for and you have to live up to expectations. I think it is my dream and the dream of the entire nation to participate in the European or World Championships. We will strive for it and I believe that we can achieve it," said Hovhannisyan.
The Armenian midfielder added that with hard work you can achieve success and he will try to act in the same way and achieve achievements in the national team and club.
