The Armenian women's weightlifting team is holding its final training sessions in Yerevan, preparing for the European Championships.

Tanzela Grigoryan, Isabella Yaylyan (53 kg), Alexandra Grigoryan (58 kg), Anna Amroyan, Alina Sukiasyan (77 kg), Emma Poghosyan and Liana Gyurjyan (86 kg), Tatev Hakobyan (+86 kg) will compete in the upcoming competition.

 "Like last year, this time we will compete with a full squad. The responsibility is great, there are no injuries and if everything goes this way, everything will be fine. The girls will participate to the maximum of their abilities, and if possible, they will win medals," said Artashes Nersisyan, the head coach of the women's team, in a conversation with reporters. 

The Armenian team will depart for the competition on April 16. The competitions in Batumi will start on April 19.
