Slott: "It's really sad to be out of the FA Cup"

Liverpool manager Arne Slott has spoken about what he believes is missing from the club after the Merseyside outfit suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

"It's really disappointing to be out of the FA Cup, not just because of the circumstances but also because of the result and the score. It's another big disappointment for us. We've been struggling to convert our chances for most of the season. I think it was a close game until the penalty shootout and the last time we played here we conceded a goal just before half-time and we did the same today. It's disappointing to go into half-time 2-0 down. It doesn't create a good atmosphere. It was really hard to take. The only positive is that we didn't concede more," Slott was quoted as saying by the BBC.
