Josep Leinders: "The senior is unique and cannot be replaced by another player"

Manchester City assistant manager Josep Leenders has confirmed that midfielder Bernardo Silva will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

"The senior is special and cannot be replaced by another player because there are no other players like him. I hope he spends the last few months well, it's only six weeks, and he says goodbye with dignity. He deserves all this attention," Leander was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

Silva has won six Premier League titles with the capital club. He has made 43 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
