Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick spoke about the current situation in the championship race after the victory (2:1) against Atletico Madrid in the 30th round of La Liga.
"How will this victory affect the championship result? There's still a long way to go, but Real Madrid are already seven points behind."
"You know, we never look at others. We have to do our job. Today we did it, we have three points and that's good. In some situations we should have played much better. We have to do our job, we have to be hungry to win. Every game is different, none of them are easy. When we are focused, we have quality and that's what I expect," Flick was quoted as saying by Marca.
After 30 matches in the Spanish league, Barcelona has 76 points and leads the standings. Real Madrid is second with 69 points.
