Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of 21-year-old Argentine midfielder Valentin Barco from Strasbourg.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the player's transfer to Chelsea will take place in June. The parties have already agreed on the terms of the deal, as both clubs are owned by BlueCo.
This season, Barko has played 43 games for Strasbourg in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing nine assists.
Transfermarkt values his transfer value at €35 million. Barco is a graduate of the Argentinean club Boca Juniors and is expected to move to Europe in 2024. He has also played for Brighton and Sevilla.
