The UEFA press service has announced the names of the two candidates for the Champions League Player of the Week award.
Thus, the contenders for the title were PSG defender Achraf Hakimi and Inter goalkeeper Jan Sommer. The Italian club's goalkeeper was named the best player for his phenomenal save in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona (4:3). The Moroccan defender of the Parisian club scored the winning goal in the second leg against Arsenal in London (2:1).
PSG and Inter will meet in the Champions League final on May 31 at the Arena Munich in Germany, with kick-off scheduled for 11:00 p.m. Yerevan time.
