Juventus are looking for a new head coach and have been trying to oust Gian Piero Gasperini from the team for a long time. However, the Italian refused and accepted the offer from the Roman club, forcing the Turin club to look for new candidates.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Zebras have turned to Portuguese coach Marco Silva after Gasperini's rejection. The Fulham coach has received strong support within the club in recent hours as a potential candidate. Igor Tudor, who replaced Thiago Motta this season, is expected to work with Juventus at the Club World Cup, with coaching changes to follow later.
At the age of 47, Marco Silva completed his fourth season at Fulham, which finished 11th in the Premier League. The Portuguese coach also has experience at Estoril, Sporting, Olympiacos, Watford and Everton.
