The 18-year-old winger of the Spanish national team and Barcelona, Lamine Yamal, was forced to return to Spain from Turkey by private plane, Turkiye Today reports. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has appealed to the Turkish authorities to resolve the border crossing issue.
It was previously reported that Lamine Yamal lost his passport in Turkey.
Spain defeated Turkey 6-0 in the first round of World Cup qualifying. Spain will host Georgia on September 11 in the second round.
