Real Sociedad sporting director Eric Bretos spoke about the team's midfielder Arsen Zakharyan.
"I don't want to compare Zakharyan with those who are leaving - they are not the same type of players. Zakharyan's development was inconsistent. His first year was positive and he showed what he is capable of. Then he had injury problems and last year was very disappointing for everyone.
"I spoke to him at the end of the season and said that we have been incredibly patient, but it is time to achieve results. Patience has its limits. He has trained very well this summer, showing his potential in friendlies. It is also true that he has not received enough playing time and he must be consistent and take his opportunities when they arise. No one doubts his talent and ability," Bretos was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
This season, Zakharyan participated in one of his team's La Liga games and did not score a goal.
