English club Liverpool are planning to extend the contract of head coach Arne Slott after the end of the season, journalist Nicolo Schira reports.

"Despite rumours, Liverpool intend to continue their journey with Arne Slott next season. Liverpool have no plans to change their manager this summer," Sheeran wrote.

Arne Slot, 47, took over as Liverpool manager in 2024. In his first season in charge, the team won the English Premier League.

Liverpool are fourth in the English Premier League standings with 59 points after 36 games.
