The official website of the Armenian Football Association has published an extensive article on the opening of the new academy of the current Armenian Cup winner, Noah Football Club, emphasizing its exceptional importance in the development of football in Armenia.
The new Noah Academy and Training Base are designed to strengthen the development of youth football in Armenia, providing state-of-the-art conditions and new opportunities for the future generation.
"This is not an ordinary day for us. This is the beginning of a new dream," said Noah President Vardges Vardanyan during the opening ceremony of the new football center.
As one of the largest investments ever made in Armenian football infrastructure, the center is a significant milestone for both the club and the development of football in the country, reflecting a long-term vision to identify and develop local talent.
It is designed to serve both the senior and youth teams. It includes modern locker rooms, rehabilitation areas, medical and massage rooms, a spacious fitness center, high-quality accommodations for training camps, as well as special areas supporting the education and development of football players.
The opening ceremony brought together representatives of the football community and other sectors. Among the guests of honor was Portuguese football legend and UEFA football advisor Luis Figo.
Armenian football has continued to evolve in recent years, thanks to increasing investment in grassroots initiatives and youth structures. Modern academies today play a key role in creating an environment where young players can develop technically, physically, and psychologically from an early age.
For "Noah," this vision is much more than just short-term success.
"Everything we build is based on our philosophy of coming together around a dream," Vardanyan added.
"Our goals are clear: the development of youth football and the introduction of European standards in Armenia."
It is also crucial that the academy will support and expand development pathways for both boys' and girls' football, creating broader opportunities and strengthening the foundations of Armenian football.
Anna Ohanyan, Development Director of Noah, described the project as a forge for building future successes.
"We have named this training camp the 'House of Champions' because we sincerely believe that champions should be born in the right environment and under the right conditions. This is a top-class football infrastructure. We have been to many European training camps, and I can assure you that even a number of top European clubs do not have such conditions."
The importance and scale of the project was also emphasized by Luis Figo, who highly appreciated the volume of investments and its potential impact on the future of Armenian football.
"I think this is not just an academy, this is the beginning of a dream for many, many children," Figo noted. "What you are building here, not only for Noah, but for the entire country, deserves a standing ovation."
The event also featured the presentation of the large-scale project "Noa Park". It is planned to be built in the city of Vagharshapat and aims to unite sports, education, and public entertainment venues into a single football ecosystem.
This long-term vision demonstrates Noah's ambition to not only build a successful football club, but also to directly contribute to the future growth of football and youth in Armenia.
For hundreds of young footballers across the country, the new Noah Academy is not only a new infrastructure, but also the beginning of a wonderful journey.
