Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham "will always be an important part of my life"

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is currently in charge of the US national team, has spoken about the situation at the London club.

"This is really sad. I love Tottenham very much, it will always be an important part of my life as a manager and as a person. This is very sad because I know how much the people inside the club and the fans are suffering.

"When I was there, I tried to explain my vision. We were in a fantastic situation because we had finished building the stadium and the stadium and had moved to Wembley to play. At the same time, we were incredibly competitive. Every season was a victory because, despite all the circumstances we were struggling with, we went 18 months without achieving anything.
