Alvaro Arbeloa: "He's playing at an excellent level"

Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has commented on the performance of the club's defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.

"He is playing at an excellent level. His performance is undeniable and he deserves to play now. When Trent was not on the pitch, Carvajal came in and he did a great job. Real Madrid are fighting for survival in every game, and so am I. Every time I put a player on the pitch, I have to trust him unconditionally. People often don't understand that a coach chooses a player because he sincerely believes that he deserves it and the most important thing is that with this player the team will win. I don't waste minutes. There are players I would like to give more playing time than they get," Arbeloa told the club's official website.
