Real Betis centre-back Nathan has been offered to Barcelona as an alternative to Inter Milan striker Alessandro Bastoni. According to Mundo Deportivo, there is a general consensus within the Catalan club that the left-back position needs to be strengthened before the start of next season.
Bastoni is at the top of the list and is the Blaugrana's main target, meeting all the club's requirements and showing great interest in the transfer. The deal could fall through due to Inter's €70 million demand.
Betis had hoped to get €35m for Nathan, while sources close to the player believe the Brazilian could leave for around €30m. Premier League clubs West Ham, Newcastle and Bournemouth are reportedly interested in his services, but Nathan's priority is to stay in La Liga.
