Legendary English footballer Bobby Tambling died yesterday. He died at the age of 84, the press service of the Crosshaven club, where Tambling was previously coached, announced on social media. Bobby had previously been diagnosed with dementia. These health problems led to his death.
It is worth noting that Tambling is Chelsea's second-highest scorer. He played for the Blues from 1959 to 1970. He played 370 games and scored 202 goals. Tambling is only behind Frank Lampard in the Chelsea all-time top scorer list, who surpassed his record in 2013.
Tambling also holds the Chelsea record for most goals scored in a single match, scoring five against Aston Villa in 1966.
