Spanish coach Andoni Iraola has signed a contract with Liverpool and become the club's head coach, journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano reported on the X social network.
According to the source, the deal has been confirmed and an official announcement will be made soon.
It was previously reported that the Spanish coach would sign a two-year contract. On May 30, Liverpool announced the resignation of head coach Arne Slot.
The 43-year-old coach's last club was Bournemouth, which he left at the end of the current season. Under Iraola, the Bale earned 57 points and finished sixth in the English Premier League table. Liverpool, with 60 points, finished fifth. The Spaniard will lead Bournemouth from the summer of 2023.
