Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will voice the animated film "ViQueens" by Norwegian director Harald Zwart, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
The athlete was chosen for the role of a Viking named Holland. According to the creators of the project, the football player perfectly embodied the image of a powerful warrior. The plot of the cartoon revolves around the adventures of two Viking girls, Hedwig and Ingrid, who travel from Norway to China, passing through icy fjords and following the Silk Road. The girls will be voiced by singer Rita Ora and actress Ella Purnell.
According to the source, the premiere of the cartoon is scheduled for late 2026.
