Barcelona president Joan Laporta and the Catalan club's sporting director Deco are impressed with Spain full-back Pedro Porro's performance at the 2026 World Cup, but his move to the Spanish club is unlikely, Mundo Deportivo reports.
According to the publication, Porro's contract with Tottenham Hotspur, which is currently extended until June 14, 2026, makes a transfer practically impossible. The Blaugrana will most likely try to acquire Joao Cancelo from Al-Hilal.
In the 2025/2026 season, Poro played 47 games for the club in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists. At the 2026 World Cup, the defender played in five games and scored two goals. Transfermarkt values his value at 35 million euros.
The Spanish national team will compete against Argentina in the World Cup final on July 19.
