Atalanta have announced on their official website that midfielder Ederson has signed a new contract. The 27-year-old Brazilian, who has been at the club since the 2022/23 season, has signed a new deal. According to inside sources, the contract is until 2030, with an option to extend until 2031.
During his four years at Bergamo, Ederson made 180 appearances in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists. In 2024, he was a key player in the team that won the Europa League. This year, the player was called up to the Brazilian national team to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
Atalanta have wished Ederson continued success in the club's shirt. Manchester United had previously expressed interest in Ederson, but the transfer failed to materialise.
