Manchester United are set to extend their contract with midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to insider Nicolo Schira on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The Manchester club has offered the 31-year-old Portuguese a new long-term contract, which will run until the summer of 2029.
The player's current contract is valid until June 30, 2027. The reputable portal Transfermarkt currently estimates the midfielder's transfer value at 35 million euros.
Fernandes has already managed to stand out with his high efficiency this season: in the opening two matches of the English Premier League, he has scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist.
