Football Meets Data, an analytics platform, has published data on the prize money secured by clubs in UEFA competitions. In total, 2.217 billion euros in prize money has already been guaranteed for 237 clubs from 54 countries (including qualifying rounds).
The indicator recorded by Armenia is noteworthy: according to the source's graphical analysis, the four Armenian clubs that participated in the European Cups have already secured a total guaranteed income of 7.6 million euros.
A significant portion of the money goes to Ararat-Armenia, which plays in the Europa League, with a guaranteed minimum profit of 5.3 million euros. In the same tournament, for comparison, the French Olympique Lyonnais has a guarantee of 18.3 million euros.
The analysis highlighted an interesting statistic regarding the financial performance of Ajax Amsterdam. The Dutch giants are the club with the highest revenue in the Conference League, with €6.7 million (Lithuanian side Kauno Zalgiris earned €4 million in the same competition). However, despite this, Ajax's minimum revenue is less than that of all 36 teams in the Champions League and 31 of the 36 teams in the Europa League.
There are only 5 clubs in the Europa League whose guaranteed income is less than Ajax's.
