Barcelona announces loan move for Marc Casado to Deportivo

Catalan club Barcelona have announced on their official website the transfer of their 22-year-old defensive midfielder Marc Casado. The Spanish player has joined Deportivo La Coruna on a one-year loan deal.

According to the deal, Deportivo will have the option to buy the player at the end of the season for 30 million euros. Last season, Casado played 34 matches for Barcelona in all competitions, providing one assist. He has not yet played for the first team of the "blues" this season.

The player's current contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2028. The Transfermarkt portal currently estimates the market value of the young midfielder at 18 million euros.
