Former head coach of the Armenian national futsal team, advisor to the FFA president, Ruben Nazaretyan is the main contender for the presidency of the Football Federation of Armenia, Arushanyan Media reported, citing football insider Norik Serobyan.
"The football community wants me to become the president of the Armenian Football Federation," Nazaretyan said, adding that he has not yet made a final decision.
The FFA presidential elections will be held in December. Earlier, the acting FFA president, Armen Melikbekyan, announced that he would not run in the upcoming elections.
