In a match postponed from the 16th round of the Fastex Premier League, Ararat-Armenia hosted Pyunik at home. In the first half of the match, Zidane Banjaki opened the score (1:0), putting the home team ahead.
The matches between these teams are hotly contested, an emotional dialogue began in the technical zone of the teams, as a result of which Artak Oseyan and Manuel Tulipan received one yellow card each. The last time the teams met was in the 21st round, which ended with a 2:0 victory for Ararat-Armenia. During that match, a fight broke out between the representatives of the “Pomegranate” and the “Black and White”.
Pyunik head coach Artak Oseyan, answering a question from a sportsworld.am representative during the post-match press conference, said: "My coaching staff and I never insult the opponent's headquarters or bench in any way, we will not even allow ourselves to look the other way, but ours can be a reaction, when we see something being said to us, we naturally have to react." Zidane Banjaki's goal was the winner for his team and they currently lead the Fastex Premier League standings with 54 points, sharing third and fourth place with Urartu with 45 points.
In a parallel match, “Noah” faced off against “Gandzasar” of Kapan. In the 20th minute of the match, Artyom Avanesyan opened the score for the guests (1:0). The 27-year-old football player scored only one goal in the first half.
The Kapan team restored the balance of the score once thanks to Joao Miguel's goal (1:1). After the score was tied, "Noah"'s 28-year-old Bosnian striker Nardin Mulahusejnovic scored twice, scoring in the 74th and 82nd minutes of the match (1:3), and Gustavo Khangareh also scored once.
Thus, "Noah" defeated "Gandzasar" 4:1, bringing the number of points to 46 and taking second place, while "Gandzasar" is eighth with 21 points.
