The Armenian U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling team has arrived in Baku to participate in the U-17 World Championship, the Armenian Wrestling Federation (AWF) reports.
Armenia's U-17 Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling teams will participate in the World Championships to be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from July 27 to August 2.
The competition will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

The Greco-Roman team led by Gagik Khachatryan will compete in 10 weight categories.

Six athletes from the freestyle team led by Arshak Hayrapetyan will leave for the competition.

Tournament schedule
According to the schedule approved by the World Wrestling Federation (UWW), Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete in the first days of the championship.
July 27: Greco-Roman style qualifying and preliminary wrestling, and in the evening, semifinals.
July 28 - 29. Consolation wrestling and medal finals.
July 31 - August 2. Freestyle wrestlers will start the fight.
